The Game Feed

For three years, I created invitations for The Game Feed - a high-end dining event hosted by Albert Seeno (owner of the Peppermill). The Game Feed’s exotic menu, which features items ranging from camel to python, aims to create a memorable experience for those that attend. The invitations worked to be the guests’ introduction to the night’s theme and menu.

The first iteration of The Game Feed in 2017 featured a bison as the main star of the invitation. Additional touches were fur-like textures, embossed gold foiling, a center die cut and branch details that were added as a varnish layer.

Sometimes simplicity is the best solution for a design and 2018's version of this invitation series is a prime example. Photo manipulation, textured metallic paper and type were the key elements that made this invitation work.

For 2019’s iteration, I wanted the invitation to lean into a more personal and organic appearance. To achieve that appearance, I opted for watercolor illustrations on a heavy weight cardstock.
