Peppermill New Years Invitations

I was asked to create an invitation for the Peppermill Resort and Casino’s New Years celebrations in 2016 and 2018. These invites were set to introduce the event's theme to VIP guests and garner interest in attending.

2016’s invitation was inspired by lavish 1920’s art deco and modern-day geometric themes. It featured gold foil, metallic ink, and a custom die-cut sleeve that was designed to open diagonally.

This invitation design won a Gold Addy from the American Advertising Federation in March of 2017.

2018’s celebration was set to transform the Peppermill Ballroom into a mystical botanical garden for its annual New Year's event. With that in mind, I chose to use ferns as the main inspiration and feature of the design. For this piece, I also created a custom sleeve design that included exposed corners resembling leaf shapes and a clear holographic foil that marbles the exterior.
